Staying at the Red Lion Inn felt like stepping into a cozy postcard of the Cotswolds. As soon as we arrived, the faint sound of classical music wrapped us in a warm embrace, complemented by beautiful decor and a stunning garden area. The room was well-furnished with everything one might need, including a hairdryer and an abundance of hangers-little things that make a stay more comfortable. Now, let's talk about the real star-the dining experience. Breakfast was a delightful spread of freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, and a plethora of hot options. I especially enjoyed the full English that set us up perfectly for our outdoor adventures. Lunch and dinner were equally impressive, featuring local flavors like Todenham Manor pork and Rollright Cheese, all expertly crafted by Chef Sarah. The local craft beers on draught added to the experience, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploration. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our meals feel intimate and special. Whether you're after a casual drink by the fireside or a sophisticated dinner with the family, the Red Lion Inn offers a lovely blend, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.
